LTS 9 introduces a major update to Tulip Workspaces to streamline app sharing across your organization: the Enterprise App Exchange.

The Enterprise App Exchange provides a standardized and curated list of centrally managed apps that users can install for a faster time to value. An account owner can begin setting up by designating a workspace as the App Exchange. The Account Owner then adds a published app to the App Exchange where users in other workspaces can install an app. This adds a copy of a curated app to their Tulip Workspace for immediate use.

One benefit of having a centralized repository for managing apps is standardizing app usage across the organization to ensure apps are validated and contain company best practices. This enables organizations to have greater control over their operations, produce high-quality products consistently, and reduce the burden on compliance.

Apps in the Enterprise App Exchange can also be used as templates and customized locally in each Tulip Workspace. With Tulip’s no-code capabilities, organizations can leverage citizen developers closest to the operational challenges to unlock innovative solutions that increase productivity and overcome site-specific inefficiencies. Template apps installed from the App Exchange enable citizen developers to significantly reduce the time-to-value and deploy apps quicker than ever before.

Additional Updates

Having the right information at the right time is crucial for engineers, operators, and leaders to make the right decisions. The latest updates streamline workflows by increasing data agility, enabling organizations to avoid spending time looking for documents, verifying information, and aggregating disparate data sources.

Upload Files to Tables

Streamline documentation by uploading files directly into a table and ensuring essential data is stored at every app completion. With an easier file-sharing experience, you can efficiently distribute documents important for quality, compliance, and process improvements.

Export Feature Flag Values as a CSV

Speed up review processes by exporting feature flag values to a CSV and comparing current settings to previous software versions.

Map Multiple Data Sources to each Machine

Users can now map machine attributes using multiple data sources. This enables use cases where users can combine events sent from apps with machine data to override a machine’s state.
